Tri-Phonic™ The Beard Tri-PhonicTM is a revolutionary three-in-one resonator guitar. This guitar, designed by Paul Beard, features a 101/2 inch dia. resonator with a spider bridge, a 91/2inch cone with a biscuit bridge, and a 6 inch dia. tri-cone with a T-bridge. These different bridge systems give the Beard Tri-PhonicTM an incredible range of tonal quality, from a sweet rich bass of the spider bridge resonator to the smooth biting highs of the tri-cone. The three resonator/bridge systems can change out in the amount of time it takes to loosen the strings and remove the twelve coverplate screws. A matching wood case is included to house the resonators. The guitar shown is curly Koa with a solid Koa neck and custom RosettaTM coverplate. Other wood choices and finishes are available.
